The grace and elegance of The Old Rectory, 1066 Business Awards - Best Start-Up 2011 Award Winner, situated in the historic medieval quarter of Hastings Old Town, is second to none. This unparalleled level of comfort, style and quality makes for a romantic and hedonistic stay in this charming seaside town. As the younger sibling to the award winning five star Swan House in Hastings, The Old Rectory has excellent lineage, and upholds the exceedingly high standards set by Swan House, which is in fact the winner of the Best Bed and Breakfast in the South East.
Located next to a traditional flint church at the end of All Saints Street, The Old Rectory has nine gorgeous guest rooms to choose from, and can comfortable accommodate eighteen visitors. The house has been decorated with the utmost care and a truly stylish eye to create a home from home where you can stay for a romantic break, a get away from it all weekend, or even book the whole house for a wedding or special celebration. With a wedding licence for both the house and the grounds, ceremonies can be performed in a selection of stunning locations; naturally the catering is magnificent, and the accommodation heavenly.
All of the rooms at The Old Rectory are en-suite, and each one is decorated with original and unique touches that make a stay something really special. From the Egyptian cotton sheets and down duvets to the luxury bathrooms and wet-rooms, the facilities throughout are superb, and include flat screen TV’s and DVD players with a library of DVD’s to select from.
Breakfast is served in the bright and elegantly hand painted dinning room, where guests can choose from a mouth watering gourmet menu of locally sourced quality produce that make simply stunning cooked breakfasts; including free range eggs from Catsfield, sausages from Westfield and kippers from Rock-a-Nore. A selection of cereals, fresh fruit and yogurt is also available.
As it’s situated in the medieval streets of Old Hastings parking for The Old Rectory is limited, though parking permits can be purchased for guests use during their stay. The Old Rectory is the perfect sophisticated location from which to discover the cafes and boutiques of the medieval old town, and yet is just a hop and a skip from the beach.
